Dr Eric Hoffmann has more than 13 years of experience in the financial industry. He has provided extensive strategic consulting to the UBS Group Executive Board and Board of Directors. He was charged with the development and implementation of a number of key projects among which were the off-shoring and outsourcing approach of the Group, the exploitation of business synergies and the realisation of an integrated business model.

Eric was a member of the board of UBS Menkul Degerler – Turkey and a member of the executive board of the European Securities Forum (now ESSF). Eric represented UBS a number of times at the Group of Thirty (G30).

Eric is a German national, holds a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. He was brought up in the US and Germany and now resides in Switzerland and Turkey.
